Fractions

In maths we had to make a fractions poster that showed how they worked. The first thing I did to make this poster was to search up some links for people to use. Then I started writing how they worked. lastly I searched up some pictures of numbers and fractions, for this activity we only had about an hour. I think I did really well because I was managing myself and I wasn't distracting other people.

Forever Home

For chapter chat one of the must do's was "In New Zealand the number of people living homeless is increasing every year. Put together a booklet with information that can help homeless people." By the sentence I printed the slide and made a booklet out of it. Hope you like it!

Chapter Chat week 5

Chapter Chat.
One of the most do's for chapter chat was to search up what you would bring to the desert, bush, or the forest. I chose desert because for chapter chat we are reading the book hole's and its based in a desert so to keep the theme so i decided to just do desert. When we do chapter chat every week on Friday we have to post our work onto twitter and then Mr. Chapter Chat picks out his favourite ones. This Friday two of my activity's where Favorited my Mr. Chapter Chat. I got to get two things out of the treasure box.  I hope that next time you do an activity you should try your best so you can get a treat back!

Week One Chapter Chat

This week we had our first week of chapter chat. It was so fun! We are right now reading the book holes from Louis Sachar. These are some of the things I did well doing the tasks.

Power Station Hill

Today I went on a trip to the power station hill. Cosmin was are tour guide and he showed use how electricity worked, he also showed us the safety and needs of electricity. After he was done we where off to Power Station Hill. We had to walk 45 minutes to get there, when we got there we had to walk up a hill. The hill was very long and my legs started to hurt, but we made it.

 When we where up the hill Cosmin told us all about what he said when he first came, it made a lot more sense when he said it at the power station. After Cosmin was done talking we got to eat. When we where done eating people had to go in groups and see the back of the power station. When everybody was done looking at the back we had to go back to school.

Cosmin was a very good tour guide and I learned a lot about electricity. My favourite thing about Power Station Hill was when we where allowed to look at the back of the power station.
