This is a great memory poem, I really enjoyed reading it. Well done! I love how you have described summer, it really makes me wish that it was summer right now. I can't wait for summer again. Go away rain!!
Well done and keep up the great work! I look forward to reading more of your work while you are learning from home!
Morena Hannah! What a wonderfully evocative poem, it definitely captures some of the essence of why we love summer so much. I have really enjoyed all of the poem types you've created with in T2. I think your Anthology books will be really good when you get them made! Hopefully you're still enjoying your time at home Hannah and have plenty of things you enjoy doing to occupy your time? Have a great day today and enjoy the lovely sunshine :) Miss J
Kia ora Hannah Your poem captures so much about summer. Today is the first day of Spring so not long to wait until those hazy, lazy days of summer! I like the clever use of descriptive words e.g flaming hot concrete, mellow nights. The summer tree background and bordered words, create an effective layout.
