What's in the news this week?

This week we had to do an weekly quiz, in the quiz we had a lot of questions that we had to answer without looking them up. After we did the quiz we had to look into one of the questions and then make a blog post out of it. Image result for the smallest dinosaur
My current event was that they have found a tiny dinosaur fossil .  It was found at the amber fossil site. The little bird was named Oculudentavis khaungraae.
Scientist say the bird like creature was the size as a humming bird. but it has fangs. As the beak was seven millimetres long and so was the skull they think it is the smallest dinosaur ever found. I think the little bird maybe of been a unborn bird from a historical bird or a bird that was born but shortly after died. What do you think?

  1. Hello Hannah, I'm Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School.

This has so many facts and the image is fascinating!

From this post I have learnt that this bird could be the smallest dinosaur, I mean, its beak was seven millimeters long, and the rest of its head was seven millimeters too.

Once on tv I've watched stuff about dinosaurs, they are so cool so its great you are blogging about this topic.

To improve this, maybe you could call it something more interesting, like the smallest dinosaur, that would get a lot of views and comments.

I think that is a pretty good explanation if you ask me, it could have been unborn, or newly born.

Why did you blog about this bird fossil?

If you have time, come check out my blog.

Cya later, Hannah, and keep up the great work!

    1. Thank you so so much Amelia! I really appreciate you commenting on my blog!

When I was making this post I was wondering if the little thing was really unborn or stuff like that...

I'll probably look it up later...well besides that I can't wait to check out your blog!

  2. Hello Hannah,
    I am Albin from YMS.

I really like your blog. It was really amazing. I think what you said is right. The bird died just after it was born. Is Oculudentavis a scientific name ?

Your blog was amazing but it would have been better if you have added more information of the fosil, like how big the fossil was. Also in your future blogs you can add some more pictures. How big do you think the bird is?

    Kind regards
    Albin.

    1. Hello Albin,

you gave me great feedback on my work, I will definitely think about that for my future blogs.

The name Oculudentavis khaungraae actually means nothing. I tried finding the meaning but I was unsuccessful. I hope you see more of my posts that I make in the future and give me more feedback.

I will definitely definitely be looking at your blog!

  3. Hey Hannah!
    A dinosaur fossil huh?
Do you know where the Dinosaur fossil was found?
I think it was a bird that shortly died after birth.
Maybe it was a bird like the falcon of hawk, well a big bird anyway.

Have you ever had a random thought like what is the purpose of the stars?
I think this a very interesting blog post!
    This was a Great post!
If you have the time, come check out my blog!

  4. Hello Teegan!

I have also have had random questions like that... But the question you asked I think I would now.

Well as many people now the sun is a star. and if there was no stars there wold be no sun. And if theirs no sun theirs no sunlight for Earth!
well I don't know if my theory is right...

Well besides that I will definitely be checking out you blog!
